From Malawi to Kenya.

Malawians travel to Kenya for various reasons including for business, health, education, leisure and for transit purposes. The predominant means of travel to Kenya is via air, although some daring individuals travel by road. At the moment, Kenya Airways (kenya-airways.com) is the only company operating direct flights between Lilongwe and Nairobi. In view of COVID-19 restrictions, travellers to Kenya are expected to comply with travel protocols outlined on the here https://www.kaa.go.ke/airports/passenger-guide/). Furthermore, once checked in, travelers are expected to upload their details into an Emergency Alert Reporting System ( https://ears.health.go.ke/airline_registration/) which is managed by the Ministry of Health of Kenya.  Information on COVID testing may be obtained here ( https://www.malawian-airlines.com/Requirements).

From Kenya to Malawi

Kenyans travel to Malawi for various reasons including business, education, and leisure. But it is not only Kenyans who travel to Malawi from Kenya. In view of the growing status of the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, various other nationalities also transit through Kenya to come to Malawi for various reasons. It is important for all other nationalities to ensure that they get visa endorsements before undertaking the trip to Malawi. In view of the COVID 19 restrictions, travelers to Malawi are expected to comply with local travel protocols which are accessible through the Kenya Airways website (kenya-airways.com).
