The High Commission

The Malawi High Commission in Nairobi is the Malawi Government representative office in Nairobi dealing with Malawian economic, political, consular, defence and security and multilateral interests. The Mission is accredited to Kenya on a residential basis and on a non-residential basis to the Central African Republic (CAR), Eritrea, Israel, Uganda and Somalia. The Mission is also accredited to the United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP) and the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN Habitat). The Mission was opened in 1964.
