Social Network Groups of Malawians living in Kenya

The Malawi High Commission in Nairobi supports networking efforts by Malawians in Kenya and Uganda, within its limited capacity. Malawi communities in Kenya and Uganda are vibrant. Each has its own leadership structure and they hold different events throughout the year as a way of getting together and keeping in touch with their Malawian cultural heritage.

The community of Malawians living, working and studying in Kenya have formed a voluntary association called Association of Malawians in Kenya (AMAKE). This association acts as a forum for interaction, exchange of ideas and information, recreation, outreach and other related activities.
