Travel between Malawi and Kenya is very convenient. Malawians visiting Kenya do not require visas just as is the case for Kenyans visiting Malawi. We will briefly discuss unidirectional travel as follows:

 

From Malawi to Kenya.

Malawians travel to Kenya for various reasons including for business, health, education, leisure and for transit purposes. The predominant means of travel to Kenya is via air, although some daring individuals travel by road. At the moment, Kenya Airways (kenya-airways.com) is the only company operating direct flights between Lilongwe and Nairobi. From Kenya to Malawi

Kenyans travel to Malawi for various reasons including business, education, and leisure. But it is not only Kenyans who travel to Malawi from Kenya. In view of the growing status of the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, various other nationalities also transit through Kenya to come to Malawi for various reasons. It is important for all other nationalities to ensure that they get visa endorsements before undertaking the trip to Malawi.
