The mission is responsible for facilitating visits to Malawi by citizens and entities from Kenya and the other countries of accreditation who are interested to visit Malawi for government-to-government matters; investment and trade opportunities; tourism and leisure.

The mission also facilitates the issuance or renewal of passports for Malawian citizens resident in the countries of accreditation. The process for applying for a Malawian passport is available here.

The mission is furthermore responsible for assisting Malawian citizens, who for one reason or another, end up facing challenges of residency in the countries of accreditation.
